Goodness the months are whizzing by! It’s time for my monthly round-up of pasta dishes from fabulous food bloggers! I must apologise for the late appearance of Pasta Please this month – it turns out that having children living away from home can be far more complicated than having them under my roof where I can keep an eye on them! Anyhow, on with the show and it’s well worth the wait! This month I have a fantastic, eclectic selection of 10 Delicious Vegetarian and Vegan Pasta Recipes to share with you and I know you won’t be disappointed!
My own pasta dish appeared last week as part of my new series sharing my simplest recipes in an attempt to ensure that my absent offspring eat a vegetable every now and again! I’m sharing the video with you here because I’m chuffed to bits with it – do go and subscribe to my brand new YouTube channel where I will be sharing a new recipe every Wednesday in term time to begin with!
A Virtual Vegan offers up a Creamy Vegan Pasta Pesto Salad, simple and delicious and sure to be a hit with my vegan boy who is making a flying visit home from Berlin this week to have his damaged hand looked at by the consultant (see? So complicated!)
I Heart Vegetables has Creamy Ricotta Pasta with Summer Vegetables – she promises a pasta sauce with ‘an alfredo-like creaminess but it’s a bit lower in calories’, excellent!
This month The Veghog has a Vegetable Garden Pasta using up the last of the summer vegetables as we tip over into autumn. Topped with courgette flowers it looks so pretty!
Green Gourmet Giraffe has been experimenting with gnocchi and whipped up two batches for our delectation, Truffle Gnocchi and Vegan Gnocchi – I’m absolutely loving the pink tinge which happened when she mashed up some red potatoes!
Elizabeth at Elizabeth’s Kitchen Diary kept it simple but delicious with her Quick and Easy Chilli Spaghetti for Two – this is very hard to beat for a quick weeknight or lazy weekend supper!
Jam and Clotted Cream’s Creamy Veggie Tortellini Soup packed with vegetables and just a hint of blue cheese has my tummy rumbling as I write this – this is just what I crave when the weather starts to cool!
Another vegan pasta offering from The Veg Space who has been using up the last of the summer tomatoes in her Roasted Tomato Arrabbiata Sauce served with Penne Pasta – I love that Arrabbiata means Angry Sauce, I had no idea!
Last but definitely not least, Jac at Tinned Tomatoes (and my co host for Pasta Please brings us this utterly delicious Shell Pasta with Samphire, Spinach and Sausages! I have just found a local source of samphire and I’m a sucker for anything with a veggie sausage in it so this is top of my ‘must make’ list!
Well – what a fabulous collection! That should keep us all Pasta’d up until next month!
If you are a reader come back next month to see what my fabulous contributors come up with next, if you are a blogger and you want to join in, here’s how!

What a brilliant roundup. Drooling and had other watch of your video. I am strangely craving pasta now. Adding the challenge to The Food Blog Diary.
Thanks for this, I love pasta so I’m always looking for new veggie and vegan ways with pasta.
Thank you so much for mentioning my baked bean balls . Now I need to get my thinking caps on and link up again!
also congratulations on your you tube channel x
I have found an old pasta recipe – so sorry about the poor photography again it was from my dodgy photo taking blogging days circa 2013 lol! However, they did taste nice and it is a veggie pasta dish. I will make a new dish soon with photos I am more proud of lol x
Such pretty dishes! Thank you for the round up!
I so should not have looked at this while hungry – my tummy is rumbling something rotten now, as well! The gnocchi in particular looks fab – great news for me, as I prefer it to pasta (I’m Venetian, we love gnocchi)!
I think I need to go and rummage in my kitchen!
I am going away for a few days but I’ll be sure to take a closer look at all the lovely pasta entries when I come back:)
