Making paper flowers is such a fabulous craft for both kids and grown ups and these glorious paper hyacinths are a fantastic way to welcome in the Spring!
Goodness, don’t those colours zing?! We’re a bit obsessed with making paper flowers at the moment and with half term in full flow, and the sun finally deciding to shine, now seems a very good time to share these beautiful paper hyacinths. Bonus Boy and I have made LOADS and they are dotted all over the house. He’s enjoyed making them so much that I keep finding him with tissue paper and scissors in hand making another one. They are a really simple craft to keep hands busy in half term, or on those inevitable Spring showers days, and you end up with these beauties to cheer your day!
If you’d like to know how to make them visit the Flora website for my tutorial and for more ideas to Get Crafty with your children. There is a step by step photo tutorial starring Bonus Boy which shows you just how easy these paper flowers are to make!
If you are a regular reader you will be in no doubt about the importance I have placed on crafting with my children as the years have passed, do go and read why I think crafting is such a Very Good Thing in this article I have written for Flora.
Disclosure: I was commissioned to create this craft for the Flora website and to share them with you here – isn’t that fab?!
