Just imagine the excitement when this plopped onto the doormat! I danced upstairs to find my youngest boy, waving this about above my head like an over excited elf – the Big Man himself has asked us to visit him and give him a helping hand at LaplandUK!
Look at that proper wax seal – we had to open it very carefully with a letter knife so we could preserve it! He unfolded the invitation and we all read it over his shoulder. He has been invited to Father Christmas’ secret Toy Factory, deep in the forest, to work with the elves and to visit FC in his little snowy home and I GET TO GO WITH HIM!
We will be guided by the elves along secret woodland pathways through the enchanted forest – we will be visiting the Elf Glade, helping in the Toy Factory and in Mother Christmas’ Kitchen (oh my word, my excitement level went through the roof when I saw that!), we can ice skate together, visit the reindeer and the huskies, pop into the North Pole Post Office and we can eat together in the Elf Village Restaurant where the vegetarian offering looks suitably festive and appetising.
We are visiting LaplandUK on 29th November which is the first Sunday in Advent, I’m going to take my camera (of course!) and capture it all to share with you when we get back but, in the meantime, here’s a little taster video.
If this taster has you as excited as I am you can book tickets to visit LaplandUK here! LaplandUK can be found in Whitmoor Forest, Berkshire – I have the compass directions to find it! LaplandUK also offer Superstar Days for Super Children to support the special needs community with signed tours for guests with hearing difficulties and support for children with additional needs.
Disclosure: We are visiting LaplandUK on their Press Day, our tickets are complimentary, this will not affect my review which will be honest and all my own words as always!
