Nutella Biscuits

  • 100 g vegan butter
  • 50 g icing sugar
  • 150 g self-raising flour
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 15 heaped teaspoons Nutella Make it vegan using a vegan hazelnut spread.


  • Preheat the oven to 180°C/350F
  • Grease two baking trays.
  • Beat the butter and icing sugar together until light and fluffy using a stand mixer or wooden spoon.
  • Sift the remaining dry ingredients and fold into the buttery sugary fluffiness to form a soft dough.
  • Take small walnut-sized pieces of the dough, roll them into balls and place them onto the baking trays.
  • Dip a fork into cold water and squash each ball until about 1cm thick.
  • Bake for about 10 minutes.
  • Cool on a wire rack.
  • Sandwich two biscuits together with a generous blob of Nutella.
  • Watch them vanish at speed.
