Equipment

  • 12 teaspoons silver, wooden or plastic
  • 12 petit fours cases
  • 1 piping bag and nozzle
  • 1 heatproof bowl
  • 1 Saucepan small enough for the bowl to sit on top without touching the water.

Ingredients

  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 40 g icing sugar

Instructions

  • Break the chocolate into chunks and melt it gently in a bowl set over a pan of simmering water.
  • When just melted, remove from the heat and stir in the icing sugar.
  • Spoon the mixture into the piping bag and squeeze it into your cases. Stand a spoon in each case and put into the fridge to set.
